4th of July

Today was Emilio's 5th Grade Farewell featuring a nice slideshow and speeches from some of the kids. Mio was very popular. Everytime his photo came up in the slide show, the kids would yell "Mio!" I was very proud of my son! After the farewell, I took the boys to Frosy Oasis for ice cream. We're all very excited for the summer!

Spring break Chillin'

I had an opportunity to spend a little extra time with the Boys this week since it was Spring Break. We didn't have any big plans, but we did go and hang out with the Boys' cousin Kevin. We played a little basketball. The boys got to see Tucker & Fletcher( Mateo likes to throw the stick for Tucker and get chased around by him as well.) Kevin & Rudy threw the football around, and Kevin showed TeTe how to climb the tree in the lot behind his house. It was such a beautiful day, and the boys were glad to get out of the apartment and just do something.

Fun at the Park

Today the Boys and I decided to go to the park and throw the football around, and shoot some hoops. We only stayed for about an hour and a half, but we all had a good time...no fighting. Mateo wasn't down with basketball, so he played on the slide and stuff. I'm glad the weather is so nice now. We have to get out more often.

MSMS Wrestling

Today I went to the Middle School to watch Rudy wrestle( Mona Shores vs. Bunker.) Rudy's team is very good. I didn't think Bunker was very good as far as technique goes, but they were strong. It took about an hour and a half before Rudy was up. I was so excited and nervous for him. This was my first glimps of my son on the wrestling mat...I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Unfortunately Rudy was pinned, but I'm very proud of his effort! As you will see in this video, his opponent was pretty large. Rudy has only been wrestling for 2 weeks, but I think if he sticks with it he will kick much ass. My best friend Ruthy came along with me and met Emilio and Rudy. I was very glad she was with me.

Family Bowling

Last Friday The boys and I went bowling with the Snuffers. It was Braxton's 11th birthday. The kids all had fun. There's really no bowlers in the group, but they all had their moments of greatness. Bouncin' off the bumpers, throwing strikes and whatnot...Good times!!
